DAY 1 – ARRIVE NAIROBI
Arrival off your International flight into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. V.I.P meet and greet as you disembark from the plane. You will be assisted as you clear immigration formalities. Our representative will meet you outside customs and immigration halls. Safari briefing and transferred to Hemingways Nairobi in Karen. Settle in and enjoy a delicious dinner before drifting off to sleep.
DAY 2 – NAIROBI
This morning, relive a chapter of local history at Mbogani House, the former home of Karen Blixen made famous by the film, Out of Africa. Continue on to the nearby Giraffe Center, a wildlife refuge situated on the expansive grounds of coffee mogul David Duncan’s Giraffe Manor. Lunch at Tamambo Karen Blixen restaurant. Later transferred to Hemingways Nairobi for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY.
Check out after breakfast and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Far more than just a place for game driving, the privately owned conservancy combines traditional safari experiences with up-close interactions such as its rhinoceros sanctuary (home to three of the remaining Northern White Rhinoceros), chimpanzee sanctuary, guided walking safaris, lion tracking, bird watching, and more.
Arrive in time for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
DAY 4 – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY.
Set out on morning and evening game drives in Sweetwaters Game Reserve. Between game drives, relax in camp, possibly taking a family swim in the pool. Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
DAY 5 – LAKE NAIVASHA.
Check out after breakfast and drive to Lake Naivasha. Leaving the green and fertile highlands, visit Thomson’s Waterfalls before descending into the Rift Valley. Continue to Lake Naivasha. Arriving in time for check-in and lunch. Dinner and overnight at Loldia House.
DAY 6 – LAKE NAIVASHA.
This morning enjoy a boat ride, later return to lodge. After lunch, your driver guide will pick you and drive to nearby Hells Gate National Park. Hike the gorge or even watch wildlife from your mountain bike. Due to the lack of major predators here such as lions, Hells Gate is safe for cycling.
Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7 – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.
Check out after breakfast and a morning drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve, passing by the dormant Longonot volcano. Continue through the reserve, game viewing en route. Arrive in time for check in and lunch. Afternoon at leisure, later proceed on afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.
DAY 8 & 9 – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.
Spend two more days exploring the open savanna, woodlands and tree-fringed rivers of the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.
DAY 10 – NAIROBI.
Breakfast at the camp. Check out and transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. Met upon arrival by our representative and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your onward flight home.
